Photoshoot and video shoot for Shiseido.
In celebration of Shiseido’s 150th anniversary, we proudly presented a timeless travel journey from old Ginza to the future. Shiseido, a beauty brand, has served its journey for the public for over a century. Portraying endless travel for them could not be more suitable.
The train in Old Ginza was departing from the station, with the air steamed up to the sky and the 4 mirror boys were comfortably seated. The timeless journey had already begun.
Ian curiously panned around and discovered himself in the old-time Ginza, with Shiseido’s iconic building appearing in the scene.
Edan heard piano sounds coming in distance. With urge, he stepped forward and entered the next zone. He then placed himself in this infinite dimension, a space that blurred time and self-consciousness. The camera followed the moving performers to the next zone.
The focus was dropped on Anson who was sitting on the window seat. He glanced out of the window and observed this alienated planet. Given flower by a dancer, Anson began his moves—he danced in the crowd with anti-gravity movements and eventually ended it with a vertical jump that collided with the appearance of Keung To in the next scene.
Keung posed freely on the roof, staring towards the glamorous universe—spread with loads of stars and planets, in the closest distance he has ever experienced.
As MIRROR continued their journey of the unknown, they danced together with the crowds, the classic Shiseido’s ticking clock sound was coming in from the background —a retouch of the timeless theme flowing throughout the entire journey.
